Data in this chart was drawn from the Navigo database. More specifically, the information concerns departures (port exit point calls) from the port of Marennes in 1789. Quantification was based on the cumulative tonnage of the vessels.
How to read the visualization?
This graph shows the destination of tonnage leaving Marennes (mainly comprising salt). One tonneaux is approximately equal to 1.44 cubic meters. France was the main destination, with an important share going to the PASA region.
